We’re looking for a great mod or two. Are you up to the task?

It’s been about a year since we went on a mod-hiring jag, and the landscape has changed a bit. There’s not a ton of activity now that Episode 3 has been completed, which also means there are fewer banning incidents. We’d like to think the greater mod presence, new Charter-approved rules and a generally calmer mood across Flamebate has chilled things out as well.

Still, there are always issues, and we need a responsible, diligent mod to help us out. Duties include sorting help tickets, monitoring Flamebate, enforcing our rules, authorizing purchases and helping determine policy. There may also be a new, interesting challenge ahead when we institute our Advanced Role-Playing forum, meaning we’ll need someone strongly familiar with the community and culture.

Are you mature, rational, fair, knowledgeable of our rules? Do you want to make Forumwarz a better place? Do you want the cachet and prestige that comes with a “MODERATOR” title, as well as future retirement Peen? Then we want to hear from you!

Just like last time, there will be a probationary period involved. If you abuse your powers or simply waste our time, we will de-mod you and possibly ban your account.

We’ll keep this thread open until we’ve received enough applications to make a decision. The admins and moderators, with input from the Charter crew, will make the final decision.

I’ve seen good moderators that are 16, and terrible ones that are much older…I think the application and the user’s past behavior tells you much more than an age could, especially since there’s no way of verifying it. Log in to see images!

The age limit is whatever the labor laws are wherever you’re from.
