I’m pretty sure ET will throw in more similar items pretty quickly. That being said, the stats on the headsets are just over the top ****ing ridiculous.

What I *hope* will happen is that the headsets will be perpetually available in the auction house, one at a time.

We need a Kyoubai forum.

Bug: If you type in a bid, it is IGNORED and the game bumumes that you made the minimum bid. This does not seem to happen if you exceed somebody else’s maximum bid. (If they current bid is 200 and they bid bid 20,000, and you then bid 10,000, the bid it records for you is 220 and for them is 242)

Fix: If you do not bid high enough to beat another player’s max bid, your max bid is accepted and immediately beaten by the higher bid. (If they current bid is 200 and they bid bid 20,000, and you then bid 10,000, the bid it records for you is 10,000 and for them is 11,000)

If he added “Flezz earned from auction” and “Flezz spent on auctions” boards, those would be MUCH more effective flezz sinks. Not much less exploitable, though.

Now, look at “HURF DURF” and tell me that a Pink Floyd peen is less worthy than that. Then consider that FWZ is intended to be a time waster, and Pink Floyd is one of the biggest time-sinks this game has.

A fairly simple solution to the forum visits cheat could be that once they are all spent (first time you hit 0 forum visits left) you get “un-cheated”.

This should of course be tested thoroughly so we don’t have any Game Dolphins on the non-cheating side.

I could spend a few BP on visits, rack up a mind-numbing number of Pink Floyds and ****s until I run down to 0 visits left, and then sell them for a ****load of flezz on the auction house on a now completely legitimate account.

I think people are going to need to sacrifice the 17.75 days worth of visits for every wad they bought, otherwise they can still reap the benefits of it.

Also, IIRC you don’t get streak ePeen, but your streaks ARE noted. People could get the first 69 visits into a streak, then just get the rest legitimately to get both the harder streak ePeens AND the scoop bonuses for long streaks.

This is not important, but it bothers me non the less.

I think ET is trolling everybody here.

Posting all my responses to the thread up to that point as one post instead of as several, responding to people’s claims and statements as accurately as I am able, and doing my best to explain the whys and hows.

Yea, because “Longcats” and “Stacgnol” do a REALLY good job. Both players have been inactive for over 8 months, and I don’t think that anybody here would argue that they are either likely to come back. Why should they be denying those names to players who are most likely going to actually use them?

The way I see it, people are trying to nitpick at implementation specifics instead of looking at the general idea.

What if the activity cutoff was six months? What if inactivity protection was free to anybody who bought and/or used BP? There are a variety of ways to do it that wouldn’t be susceptible to abuse and would be HIGHLY unlikely to affect people who deserve their names.

So, can anybody voice objection to the general idea of making it so that people can take names from accounts that are unlikely to ever return to activity?
