Solution: New rule: advertising your auctions in non-RP is a bannable offense.
A seperate Kyoubai forum that lets people advertise their auctions will just mean yet another non-RP forum that allows spam (like Contests) and moderation is limited.
Honestly, now that I think about it, my new rule I just proposed is starting to make more and more sense the more I look at it. Implementing it is inevitable, it’s up to CZ how long they want to wait before doing so. |

Yes the Kyoubai will be used for auction spamming, but it can also be used to request a .moar file be put up for auction.
I don’t think auction spam should get a person banned, but if it did, it will be funny to see almost every new player get banned at least once.

I wonder if auctionspam in GD generates more posts than the entirety of some of the other non-RP forums. I’m not sure if it would get enough traffic to justify its own forum, but hopefully it can get moved out of here either to another forum or just banned entirely.
Plus, I’m not really sure it’s effective. Do I really need to be told that you’re auctioning off Ripro and Earbleeders? If I wanted to see if anybody was auctioning off Ripro, it’s not very hard to check. |
