New Domination Card Suggestionsquangntenemy Posted:
Actually, it would have to be a random card from the player of your choice. Unless combined with the Peeping Tom, of course.
Speaking of the Peeping Tom, it’s also quite underpowered. What if it was replaced with a “Spy Camera”, or something like that, which once used allows you to look at that player’s cards for the rest of the round? (view post) |

Vanilla scoops: USE THIS THREAD ONLY!I actually like Spot’s idea. Card that damage opponents’ scoops/cards in a manner proportional to their numbers would make large raids less desirable (but still useful). A Klan might cash in for 100+ scoops on a single raid, but if bumholes are taking about 30 scoops apiece (and maybe a card could be introduced which destroys cards when a player has over a certain amount), they would think twice about rising too high above the competition. Vanilla scoops: USE THIS THREAD ONLY!Tarman Posted:
Up to 100 people only getting scoops from one of those raids. As it is now, if you have five raids in a row you can have most of the Klan join all five while only using visits in one. With a cap on participants it will be far less likely for members to earn scoops on raids other than the ones they contribute to. (view post) |

Vanilla scoops: USE THIS THREAD ONLY!Why don’t we just cap how many people can join any given raid? It seems like the main problem is with huge Klans who have a large pool of visits, so a limit of somewhere between 10-20 participants would limit an astronomical yield (though still allow for considerable amounts with efficient leadership). While raids could still be conducted back to back, visit-less participants would be far less welcome as they would take up valuable slots, solving the problem of members racking up tons of scoops without using a single visit. Free medals?Yeah, that was a pretty odd surprise when I logged in. At first I wondered how I even ended up playing since I hadn’t been getting any lemon or pistachio with my visits, and then I realized that I’d actually gotten some forumbuildr votes for once. (view post) |

Considering how many scoops it sounds like you’ll have, getting an bumhole would be pointless. You would be better off buying Shields to prevent yourself from getting knocked down that low or Modest Improvements to work your way back up. (view post) |

A very SERIOUS discussion about Antifreeze Scoops. Seriously.I personally think Summergirl simply uses the same ideal strategy that we all use, which apparently has a small margin of profit. I decided to give GambleBot another go today nonstop for about an hour, and ended up with F2000 more than I started with (my high was up F5000 and my low was down F12000), and that was after a furious battle with the bot using what was as far as I know the ideal strategy.
I’d say that the reason she makes so much per day is that she has an obscene amount of time on her hands, which exponentially magnifies the small margin of profit. While this kind of sucks for anyone else who wants to top the Fleez Leaderboard, I’m sure some of us will work our way up there eventually the old fashioned way. (view post) |

A very SERIOUS discussion about Antifreeze Scoops. Seriously.BINGEBOT 2015 Posted:
The first part of Step 1 is redundant. No one in their right mind would play the other games for their five antifreeze (if it is true that there is indeed a strategy for profiting from Blackjack).
In fact, adding antifreeze to all games (most specifically RPS) will lead to further consequences. Once Step 2 is implemented everyone will switch to RPS for their antifreeze (RPS breaks even on average), and once Step 3 is implemented everyone with a decent bankroll will once again be earning infinite antifreeze.
Antifreeze, in my opinion, should never be added to a game with 50/50 or better odds. (view post) |

A very SERIOUS discussion about Antifreeze Scoops. Seriously.BINGEBOT 2015 Posted:
That’s why I like the Guess my Number solution, because in my opinion it solves both problems. If the wiki is right in saying that perfect play results in a 35% win rate, then a player simply CAN’T spend countless hours placing F1000 bets, even with a large bankroll. Instead they’ll have to use visits to earn fleez in order to get antifreeze, which would leave chocolate as the only scoop which doesn’t require a visit investment. As an added bonus, it’ll give players something to “spend” their excess fleez on. (view post) |

A very SERIOUS discussion about Antifreeze Scoops. Seriously.I agree with some that the best solution would be to shift antifreeze from Blackjack to Guess my Number. While players with a huge bankroll would be able to use it to their advantage at the moment, with such a high losing ratio their fleez should drop down significantly in the process of getting any large amount of antifreeze.
The only thing I’d wonder about is whether or not such losses can simply be made up through Blackjack. While I personally always struggle to break even when I’m running antifreeze, some people around here seem to have done much better. Whether that’s luck or enough skill to beat the house I don’t know, but if it’s the latter then any losses from Guess my Number could easily be recovered without using any visits, which would revive the problem. New medal idea...Sancdar Posted:
Heh, I originally thought that was how min scoops actually worked.
True, people use visits and get cards, and I think it makes for a pretty dull first half of the week when everyone is just stockpiling cards while having no one to use them against. (view post) |

New medal idea...Westside Wizard Posted:
Hmm… what if you did the opposite, and awarded a medal to whoever LOST the most scoops during the week? It might help to breathe some life into the early days of the week where everyone avoids getting scoops out of fear of losing them. (view post) |

New Domination Card SuggestionsSlipstream could be abused, especially early in Domination when most people are building up cards instead of scoops. A player could spend 4 scoops on a Slipstream and then use it immediately, making a 6 scoop profit (or turning that card into 2.5 more cards). With some luck, a player could build up a large number of cards with a relatively low number of initial scoops (with no loss of Fleez or visits). (view post) |

Congratulations, Knights!I would like to congratulate the Knights of LOL for simultaneously earning the three coveted Klan e-peen for highest average fleez, average cred, and average forums pwned. It’s a true sign of Klan greatness to earn these, and I’m sure it had nothing to do with [temporarily] kicking out all your members who were below the average this morning.
Seriously, though, I see this as a very cheap move on the part of the Knights. While most of the removed members have now, of course, returned, the evidence still remains in the Top Rankings (which only updates once every 24 hours). Notice how the average cred per Klan member (at the time when the Top Rankings were updated) is way higher than the actual average when all members are present? Hmm…
Does anyone else think things like this undermine the entire point of “hard-to-get” Klan e-peen, or is it just me? (view post) |
