Will the fun ‘n flirty Google Docs survey also include hints (or better, promises) as to what else we might expect to see in Orange going forward? Knowing (or better, seeing in action) that information will help us decide what would be a fair price. |

1) Community forums, tabable, as stated. First thing that came to mind. 2) More customization for tabs. Ex. If you are working on certain moar files, being able to tab those forums would be nice. 3) Agree with saving several swappable toolbar configurations. 4) The collapsible equipment is nice, but if you have several copies of something (same condition), it would be nice if they were collapsible as well. I find extract all to be counterproductive otherwise. 5) A folder or something in junk or a notice or tubmail to distinguish junk that is evolving.
Letting everyone use Orange was a good idea, but I think you should have had your price point out at the same time. A lot of people already had it pegged as $5 or $10 so $30 came as even more of a shock.
Since people like epeen, maybe offer an epeen with the monthly version. Alternatively, let them buy an epeen a month. Make an E-peen Buildr, every month a new one is picked, and people can buy it for brownie points.
spacekadt Posted: Haven’t you ever noticed some people will pay for sporting events, concert tickets, a big tv, etc. before they will pay for going to the doctor or dentist, stating the latter is “too expensive”? (emergencies aside) Just because something ought to be more valuable doesn’t mean it is. Otherwise good teachers would be making millions and football players, etc. would be holding bake sales. |

The long and short after Orange: 28 days later… nothing that hasn’t been stated already and scoped out by my mighty lurking skillz…
My (After)Thotz – The bottom line – If someone wants to stay competitive in Dom they pretty much have to buy orange. With new forum resistances and the many new attacks and status effects in the current game, the extra action bars become a necesssity instead of a luxury.
-The new ‘triple click’ equipment screen actually increases the time it takes to switch from pwning/buying/rollover gear, and the way it snaps back to the very top of the screen when you exit an ‘eqiup’ page is more than a little scroll intensive -Customizable tabs are convenient, but I only added two or three, and I can easily adapt when they are removed -Email space to me (and possibly? to a large portion of the community) is a non-issue -The new Moar. interface looks great, but doesn’t really help me organise them in any way. Clunky is as clunky does. -The ability to ‘Clear my entire toolbar’ doesn’t really seem to be all that useful, although I can see it being used once or twice during a character’s progression
What additional Features would you like to see in Orange? -The ability to buy/prank smileys next to a character’s name in flamebait -One of these, but not both a) when I get a specific part of a moar. file from a forum, I want my Almanac to remember where I got it and make a note as such OR b) when I extract a file, I would like my Almanac to remember its stats and record them for future perusal
And the current price is absolutely redonkeykong, mindbogglingly so.

you bring up a good idea. it would be nice if you could have your accounts linked together so you don’t have a dozen different almanacs floating around. |

the tm limit is one of the only things i want. i like not having to get rid of my old ****. also dom is well still mostly the same as it was before without the extra space. Only problem would be for hackers who have like 8 skills to use. |

This is why Orange should be done away with and each feature priced separately.
Except for the expanded toolbar which should be free for everyone because it’s been asked for forever, and it feels like a slap in the face, now that it’s more necessary than ever, to be told we now have to pay for it.
Said the same things in my survey.

This is true, I am a hacker and my view is slanted as such. Also, having been here less than a year and not having a huge inbox slants my take on the tubmail thing as well. |

JB, here is one important thing to consider as the trial winds down:
– under the current trial of Orange, we all got to keep our old Tubmails – when the trial runs out, anyone who does not pay to subscribe will lose said Tubmails – if the price discussion is not completed by the close of the trial, it would be unfair to expect us to buy Orange at the current (likely too high) price just to keep those Tubmails
So: could we get a promise that Tubmails will not be deleted until the price is resolved and players are given fair time to consider whatever price is decided on? |

If I understand this correctly, it seems that you will not be able to receive anymore tubmails until you delete some messages, but they will not be removed automatically. |
