You should probably find a good tech forum or something for all this stuff, probably better appreciated there, and you could find more and better answers. Not saying that you shouldn’t post it here, it’s a nice change, and kinda interesting sometimes imo.

lolol, let’s start with a list

– i love hockey (hence canada hence fwz)

– it’s got a puck holding up the card because like i said the isa slot is ****ing old and doesn’t connect properly, and i don’t have teh secksy $10/bottle contact/control cleaner spray, and there are only 4 contacts on the opposite edge, so it makes a more secure connection

– i _took out_ a perfectly working ATI Rage 128 AGP card from this computer to use the ISA card, that’s not the point (this ISA card is more suited for a 286 or 386 with Win3.1)

– there are absolutely no Windows 2000, ME, 98, or even Windows 95 drivers for this card – there’s no reason to anyway, it’s made in 1990

– it’s running XP because it’s a 700MHz Pentium 3 with 256mb RAM and it fits in well on my network

I thought the more lulzier questions would be sorta like… uh… hm, I could use some help thinking of some questions…

Not to be a male reproductive organ or anyphin, but although it would be an unexpected plus, I’m not really looking to actually fix the problem… I mean, you see what forum this is posted in, rite? General RP? Log in to see images!

Also, there are no 98 drivers on that page… have a look. For ProDesigner II, it only shows a Windows 3.1 driver, which I already have. What I meant by “no win98/98/ME/2K/XP drivers” is that there are no OEM, downloadable drivers. 9x/ME/2K/XP all come with built-in support for the card, that’ll probably work fine. 98 would work marvelous with this thing, and I could just slap together a quick 9x computer if that’s what I really wanted (I’d probably go ME since – really – I never had any major issues with it, and it’s far upgraded over 98 as far as USB support goes).

But what I really wanted was just to collide the highest tech with the lowest tech, if just for a lul. It’s actually pretty amazing what this card is capable of speed-wise, it doesn’t take its time putting stuff on the screen, and it even played a Flash video (do you have a waffle – google it), if at about half-speed, it was still pretty smooth. And holy ****, a DIP switch for refresh rate and speed setting.

The biggest problem I have with the card is that it’s horribly obscure. The ProDesigner II and ProDesigner IIs seem to have totally different board layouts, which is kind of a pain, but I found that the IIs has the same sort of DIP switch, and the settings seem to work the same. Dunno about driver though.

Aw, damn them for making it look like the blank spots should be alternate os versions for the previous card.. I thought it was just an indented list, sorry.

Dug a computer out of the trash can (literally). Cleaned it up. Added a hard drive and RAM. Added video card. Added Win2K.
