I did notice in Beta, although haven’t confirmed, that repeatedly hitting the same forum over and over again resulted in completing the same files over and over again. But also getting pieces of other things.
There was also one I was going for which took me about 30 visits to Second Wife to complete. And no, I don’t remember what it was or what it did.
Finally, and this is confirmed — there is this Luck stat…
(It does impact .moar files, but the details remain confidential.) |

MC Banhammer Posted: I’ve found that increasing Luck does seem to make it more likely to fiend the “one piece” you’re missing… but it’s not a sure thing and seems to have a much greater effect on lower-level forums. It may not actually work that way- maybe I just started noticing getting last pieces after each time I increased luck. Log in to see images! Hard to say for sure. Keep in mind that at the time my Luck was at 95, so this may only have a noticeable effect in extreme cases. |

There might be a system where you can find a majority of .moar parts on one forum, but you need to go to another forum to find the minority part. That way, there’s a slight variation to the grinding scheme, so you don’t have to hit the same one forum over and over again. |
