That would be nice, or alternatively ET should just make the parts (Some parts?) of Pink Floyd untradeable. It seems like it would be trivial to buy, and a pain in the bum to gather yourself, so this is definitely a file where it would be reasonable to exempt from the auction house (alternatively, just keep everything but the final file out of the auction house.) I think it's time to remove the Flamebate leaderboard.Considering that peen length no longer scales to “how much the person with the most” has, is it really a problem if there are peens in the world that are simply unreasonable/impossible/implausible for anybody to get?
It seems to me that there’s no problem with having a peen out there which is possible to get, but simply nobody is going to get it without some miracle occurring. (view post) |

Hall of Faded Fame is dropping pink floyds like crazyI’m kind of sick of checking Hall of Faded fame several times a day, hoping to catch it at 11 or 10 threads. Does anybody know how often number of threads resets, and about what times it resets? I would guess the counter for the first period starts “after rollover”, so I’d just need to ask somebody who’s awake then and know the frequency of thread count refreshes. (view post) |

Moar files should not be worth flezzFrom what I understand, the eventual .moar trading system is going to be an auction house, so it will be unreliable as a way to transfer wealth. At least, if the powers that be elect to want prevent people from transferring flezz like this it won’t be too hard to track down files that sell for dramatically more than market price and look into it.
In terms of putting less flezz in the game, I don’t think .moars are really worth that much. What are the most expensive ones, a couple of thousand flezz? The “flezz in” quotient of selling files is really minor, all of the problems with the game’s economy are largely that the “flezz out” quotient is way too small. People at the high end don’t spend flezz except on repairs, get max deliveries, and get more from one job than they can get from selling a dozen .moars at ppwn. You’re really trying to put out a forest fire with a bucket here if you think making .moars not sell for anything will help.
Also, sure, selling files you find on the internet is unlikely to make you money IRL, but trolling forums is unlikely to make you money IRL too. The bumumptions the game makes about its fictional internet make “selling random files you found on the internet” comparatively plausible. I mean, is someone really going to send you a bicycle because you insulted some furries?
Essentially, what I’m saying is that .moars are worth so little flezz it hardly matters, and that the flezz auction house is coming whether we like it or not (personally, I like it, but I’m 9 pieces short of darkside). (view post) |

Hall of Faded Fame is dropping pink floyds like crazyI’m wondering if there isn’t a sweet spot for luck for farming darkside here. With 68 luck I’ve so far managed to get 59 pieces of riprogrammatori and 58 pieces of darkside (counting duplicate pieces of course.) Is it possible that Riprogrammatori is actually the rarer file, so people with less luck would expect more darkside and less Riprogrammatori?
How are people with less luck doing on the breakdown between the two? Is what I’m experiencing normal? (view post) |

Ideas for new E-PeensI definitely like the idea of the additional milestone spider peens, and I would also like to suggest one (or more) for bumembling unique .moar files, which would be much more fun to grind for than the ones for bumembling thousands of low-level 2 part .moars.
