I wanted to have this out by now… but I’d rather give you a quality product than a rush job. It’ll probably be a month, maybe two. I probably got most of it done though at this point. In the words of the OG, non-fabulous persongy, Gene Wilder Willy Wonka:

Good for you. I’m making a game in RMXP. I sure it’s a lot less time and effort than making it from scratch. I guess if I really wanted to be hardcore about it I could bumemble my own computer from spare parts I found in a dumpster by radio shack, then write my own operating system, then program a game from there, but I took a few shortcuts. Have you done that? Ok, then I’m not impressed. |

To be honest, I’ll side with Celerysteve on this one. Are you a great coder? That’s awesome and all, but not all of us have the time (or interest) to learn enough coding to program a game.

Yeah, I’m much more interested in designing the game than punching numbers in. I’d rather just tell people what to do and have them program it for me if I could.
Anyway, the game is running right along on schedule. My brain is totally burnt out from the mbumive work I put in today. I’d say it’s easily over 95% complete. I have the next two days off, so either It will be released by Monday or it will be in the playtesting/tweaking/adjusting phase and released soon after. |

I look forward to this, as Square/Enix is only capable of putting out CGI garbage with androgynous leads dealing with personal issues and saving the world from (Insert Destroyer of your choice).
