As long as I keep my other account banned, I can play this one and not have it be an “illegal” multi, correct? I have no interest in playing the other ones again, and I promise to be on my best behavior if allowed to stay, but if it’s all the same I’d rather keep this one than try to fuss with the other one.

As long as that’s kosher, there is a precedent set for “combining” accounts as well, isn’t there? I was going to ask ET about it but I’d rather not waste his time if someone here can answer it.

You can ditch this account and fill out the form, that means you will be on thin ice at your main account.

Your best bet:

Fill out the contact form on the ban page. Explain your situation, and which account you’d like to come back as. If you want to combine your illegal accounts into one, ET can do that too. But it’s up to him.

Gonna ban this one too until that’s resolved. Don’t keep creating new accounts while you’re banned for illegal accounts; that, as far as I understand, counts against you.

Like MCB said, if you’re vying to come back after being permabanned, you have to contact us and plead your case. You can’t create a new multi and think everything will be hunky-dory.

We’ve been willing to combine accounts for BP in the past, but I don’t think that’s what you’re angling for. Even if you do convince us you’re going to straighten up and fly right, I think there should be at least a mandatory cooling-off period.

It’s another one of those things we have to cement at the Crotch Zombie HQ. In the meantime, I think MCB was obviously right in re-banning.

Dammit, Crinkz. You were unbanned for what, 10 minutes before you did something to get banned again?

Sometimes, it’s unavoidable. And other times, you get banned for things you don’t think (or maybe know) are bannable. It’s not as cut and dry as you might think.

I’m really failing to grasp how “getting banned” is ever unavoidable. Admittedly, yes the rules are sort of scattered about all over the place and the moderators are people instead of all-knowing impartial god-robots, but can’t someone with a basic grasp of “forum etiquette” and “how not to be a complete worthless bumhole on the internet” essentially easily avoid anything that might get them banned?
