Leg Scars

So I’m supposed to go to the lake today. The problem is, I haven’t worn anything but pants for the last year. If I were to wear a swimming suit, it would be very obvious the amount of scars on my leg are self-inflicted.
What should I do, cut more beforehand?
Also, how can I keep my makeup from running in the water? |

I recommend waterproof eyeliner with non-waterproof mascara. This will allow you to keep the dark eyes while swimming, but still cry black tears.
You might also try some eyedrops made with atropa belladonna. It will dilate your pupils so that people can see into your soul and recognize the depth of your feeling. Unfortunately, it does interfere quite a bit with your near vision, so you probably won’t be able to read or post in these forums for a while. Oh, wow. I wish I had seen this sooner. Let’s be honest for a minute here. You cut yourself because deep down, you want, no need, for someone to see your pain. They can’t see your inner pain, so you create outer pain.
Go to the lake, let them see.
Or, you know, say you’ve got your period.
