As much as I hate the idea of missing out on an exclusive peen, I agree. Every official contest has had one. I think it’s sad that this one didn’t.

I agree there should be an epeen, but pose the question: who gets it?

Would there be two made for the winner of each category, or one “comic winner” peen that goes to best overall, or one that goes to crayoncakes and/or myself for placing in both categories?

It’s a tough call but following the tradition of official contests, should be made.

I don’t know which I’d want to see more, personally. I want a special epeen but really have no idea what’s most fair. Obviously no epeen for anyone is most ‘fair’, but that’s just not a good choice now is it?

To play devil’s advocate: If a peen were announced as a potential reward in the first place, it’s possible some people who otherwise didn’t participate would have, and they may have won. So I think it would be unfair to introduce the peen post facto.

I don’t know ET made it clear that there was a possibility on page one of the thread. My entry wasn’t great (zero art skills and am known for being an unfunny fabulous persongy Dom player), but based on his post I made an attempt.

I’d think it would be like the junk contest or the Emo-ku and all winners get the peen.

It just seems strange to me that a contest that had 2 entries (the night of the living crotched contest) had a peen, but this one didn’t. *shrug*
