This thread is inevitable, and so I thought that I shouldn’t delay it any further (it would be irresponsible of me, indeed).
Genericangstyposter was pretty simple for me, actually, because I noticed that in e-mail and AIM, everyone had some ridiculously “dark” name, like “Lostblackdreamer,” or “unlovedalone40294.” One day I saw one of these people and I said, “Huh… what a generic angsty poster.” Then, I took that name (it used to be Cybercompost, or Rountree, or Loki). I picked the most pretentious and angsty name I could think of; I ended up with ennui, but that wasn’t sufficiently pretentious, oh no. So I picked another word to go with it, almost out of a hat. The result, eponymous_ennui.

I use the same name I use everywhere else.
It comes from the name of a character I made, Sabre (chosen strictly because it sounded cool and I like swords), and that was taken so I threw Justice on the end with an underscore between them (because he’s such a heroic character, and also underscores seemed to be the style at the time). |

Been through a few nicks, Cube being my most recent one but as that is often taken, Cubear is a pretty close name.
I was actually playing stupid Pokemon XD, and the first pokemon you get is a little teddy bear guy. He was Cubear after cute bear and I decided I liked that enough. |
