Forum Thread #: A SRS Thread About an Ineffective Fix. SRSLY.Brief Background: Recently, forum thread #s were changed to not reset on every visit, but every 30 minutes. This was done for all the Cred and Flezz whores (All 10 of them?) who were refreshing the pages several times until they received the maximum # of threads on Memebusters.
What I would like: A fix back to the original system where the # of threads was a random value between the minimum and maximum.
Why this fix is necessary: The four visits each day that the Cred and Flezz whores get each day is not going to strain the servers by having them refresh the forum every 30 seconds by going through the menus. On the other hand, this now limits the times people who are aiming for a certain thread # can play the game. I’m not an expert, but limiting the times people can play the game because for the majority of the day they are unable to due to the static thread # seems unproductive. Furthermore, this affects myself as well as I aim for minimum # of threads and I by no means am going to check the site every 30 minutes for a forum to hit minimum. To further this point, the Cred and Flezz whores are looking for only one forum to hit maximum, while I, and perhaps other speed runners, are waiting for NUMEROUS threads to be at minimums, since once you accomplish a speed run there’s no need to beat your own record until someone reclaims it.
Summary: – Thread fix currently limits times during the day that numerous players can play — Inconvenient to speed runners and flezz runners
– Thread fix does not solve people refreshing threads since people must still check the forums, just now spread over a longer time frame until they get their desired result — Frustrated players and still no improvement.
– Visits stagnate. I have yet to be able to use my visits for nearly a week due to the times I’ve checked threads the desired result (Min/Max) was not available.

A very SERIOUS discussion about Antifreeze Scoops. Seriously.Currently, there is no limit to antifreeze scoops and no foreseeable slowdown in their use as a growing number of members are reaching higher and higher Flezz™ amounts. Here are some quick facts about the number of scoops you can earn in a week for each scoop type:Antifreeze: >500 Chocolate: 20-100 Lemon: 84 Pistachio: ~25 Vanilla: >200 The only ones with hard cap limits are Lemon and Pistachio, as they are the easiest to acquire. Chocolate requires creativity and it is not very often a single submission will pbum 100 votes (20 scoops). Vanilla requires a large time investment and teamwork in a Klan as well as visits, so the high value there may be accompanied slightly by some drawbacks. Antifreeze requires only a decent initial bankroll (15000 Flezz™ ) and a basic strategy table, so why the huge payoff? Now, as seen in several domination brackets, people are acquiring record amounts of antifreeze scoops and in many instances making large amounts of Flezz™ off of it. Here are several proposed changes, to antifreeze only, that I think should be implemented. 1. Limit Antifreeze scoops to 20 per day. Have Gamblebot say something along the lines of “I believe you are running third party programs”, “I have been informed that you have a warrant out for your arrest” 2. Implement a lottery system. Have tickets cost 1000 Flezz™ and you receive an antifreeze scoop for every X tickets you purchase. The payout may vary from 1 Flezz™ to 10,000 Flezz™ and you could include some cheesy scratch game with it if you cared or just make it instantly tell you your winnings. 3. Remove Antifreeze from Blackjack bets and implement it into “Guess my Number”. We all know there is no way to profit off that game. New Domination Card SuggestionsYea I saw, I still think the mechanics could be complicated and have some sort of timer/etc related to it. For Example:
Case of the Mondays – This card adds 5 scoops on Monday only. After using this card you may not buy domination cards until after the end of the round. (Additional cards may still be played).
Things such as this that have a large bonus, but put you at high risk. I was looking for cards such as that, not simple -1 of yours -1 of person cards. (view post) |
