@Sergeant Cid: Here is my response to the thread "General Input & Discussion Regarding FlameBate Forum Rules". I'm posting it in GRP because MC Banhammer has bumured me I will be banned if I criticize the rules anymore. As I cannot post this in this thread, I’m posting it here.CD RULES 1) The rule states that posting “personal insults, unconstructive criticism/suggestions/answers” is bannable. This is extremely vague, some detailed guidelines should be given on what is considered trolling. Personal insults are obvious, but “unconstructive criticism” is extremely vague. Is unconstructive criticism even bannable? Has anyone ever been banned for this? Or is it just an excuse that the mods can use to ban a player that they don’t really like? It’s been joked about that you’re not allowed to joke in CD, but we’re frequently warned from going offtopic. Are we allowed to be sarcastic to a moderator anymore? Are these rules in place simply to ban someone that has been annoying mods as of late? RP RULES 1) “Shock” is much too general in it’s current state, there needs to be a sort of detailed description of what is or is not considered shock, feel free to include body parts, body functions, et cetera. See the examples below on how vague the difference between the pictures are. Examples: *Shock *Not Shock *Not Shock What would be ideal is a detailed description on what is, and what is not considered shock. MC Banhammer said it best “Shock is SUBJECTIVE”, however there are 7 mods, and all of them have different definitions. There must be a better way than “If you don’t want to risk it, then don’t risk it.” Regarding FAIL’s recent ban, it shows how something that is not seemingly close to shock (in 21st century North American society), some very close minded moderators have found milk to be coming out of a mans bum, or semen dripping from one womans woman's genitals into another womans mouth, to be shocking. This should be addressed in a comprehensive list of actions and body parts which may be considered shocking. And, if you don’t want community outrage, slap on a “these are guidelines and it is at the discretion of the mod if it is shock or not….et cetera”. Why is the “I am not offended easily” clause, only used in certain cirgreat timesstance? 2) “No off-topic in stickied threads in —— Those are the only problems I have with any of the current rules, and I accept that people can get away with stuff in this forum, that they wouldn’t be able to anywhere else, and that the mods are very lenient when it comes to the few rules we do have; let’s try to keep it that way, and not have militant, neo-nazi mods and such. It is slightly heartbreaking that I can no longer post anything about the rules in any CD forum, but I hope that my voice can still be heard. (view post) |

Good day. It seems that an unjust ban has occurred just one day after you promised to be more clear with the rules.MC Banhammer Posted:
Why don’t we implement detailed specifications on what is shock, such as body parts, bodily functions or any activity which can be considered shock. (view post) |

What the ****, unban FAIL now.Wait, is this image, and this image seriously considered shock?
I mean, I’d consider it porn, and so would most other people.
What happened to not offended easily?
This is why we need specific examples of shock, what constitutes it, and et cetera.
And don’t worry, I’ve already written my response to arguments against my above statment, it’s:
“So because you think that if you implement a line, people are going to push it, you’ve decided not to have any line at all?” (view post) |

Sticky: a civil and constuctive conversation/discusion about forumwarz the guy who posted this posted it in a constructive and civil way the rest of this thread is constuctive and civilI don’t even use my forum visits anymore.
I don’t care about dom, and I pretty much have the best or second best moar files, so I don’t see a point. Flamebate is the only thing that’s kept me around.
Waiting for episode 3. (view post) |

I invited a new guy!I once invited like 7 of my friends, they loved it and invited more of their friends, and they all really like the game. At one point, 20 of these people, who all go to a different school than me were playing. And they’d just take their laptops to the school and play off the school’s internet connection.
CZ saw this as one guy with 20 alts. So they perma’d everyone. (view post) |

OFFTOPIC:
Here’s something I discussed awhile ago.
When you reach level 4, and are first able to use flamebate, why doesn’t a new contact appear, who’ll tell you that you’re now eligible to use flamebate, which will redirect you to a page with all of the rules on it.
Then, you need to agree to the rules, before you enter flamebate. (view post) |

Erm..Personally I’m not that huge a fan of the speech bubbles, but it’s an improvement from before. Also, the anonymous profile complements the board.
But would we be able to have the same setup as all the other RP boards, just with the poster being anonymous?
Also, could we have the option of which boards we’d like to see in Active Topics? Because now my active topics are always crowded either by more “post here” contests, or the anon board.
Other than that, I have no complaints. (view post) |

Suggestion on New Layout. It’s a huge ugly white blemish on the page until I ZOOM IN; at that point, it’s perfect for my resolution.
On Windows with most browsers, that should be Ctrl+Scroll Up

Flamebate changes: Official Feedback ThreadIn the new anonymous forum, could you try to better distinguish between posts?
Also, in the rp forums, the green of the outer border sort of clashes with the blue of the posts. Maybe if you could tone up/tone down some of these colours? (view post) |
