Domination Season End

We’ve been playing domination for 5 months since Season 3 ended. And what does that mean?
The current season of Domination is ending! When you ask? Wednesday, September 9th! When the new Domination season starts, we will be on a new Lemon Scoops engine that should open the game up to people with low connection speeds. Read about all the gameplay revamp changes here.
The final two weeks will play out in typical fashion 2 weeks and then E-Peens™ will be awarded to the top medal winners similar to previous seasons. All season based medal counts will be reset (you’ll still keep your overall total) and we’ll start a fresh season.
It’s safe to say that we’ll be doing this multiple times a year to keep things fresh. Also, the various themes we did during the previous seasons went over well, so we’re going to keep doing them. Stay tuned for more great themes, cards and enhancements for Season 5!

I’d prefer it if we knew when the season was going to end at the start of the season. When a pistachio streak takes 4 weeks, 3 weeks notice isn’t enough – it’s just a random gift to a minority of lucky players, if we have double medals in the last week again. |

And because of the pistachio problem nobody could really acquire a distinctive lead over the season, so the last week with double medals screws everyone who hasn’t a good streak. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a lot of ties for the endseason peens. |

Can we restrict the double medals to top 3 brackets? Because that’s where the battles are hottest and people deserve double medals. Otherwise people will just try to get out of them to easily sweep 6 medals. |

While it’s sort of an interesting idea, I don’t think it makes sense, especially without announcing it in advance. Also, dropping down to bracket 5 or 6 hardly means an easy sweep. |

Not very easy, but if you prepare your streak and try to arrange some ties it’s still easy. Also thanks to ties the chance to medal there is already twice as much as in top brackets. |

Fair would be no double medals at all. Given how slowly the top end of the medal table has been rising this season, allowing a player to jump from 6 to 12, possibly giving them a peen for 3 weeks of effort whilst players have been floundering on 8, 9, 10, 11 medals for months, is not a good thing. meeeeeeeeee edited this message on 07/23/2009 3:40PM |

Perhaps ditch the no ties rule for the last week, to give the upper brackets a better chance of competing with the lower brackets? |
