You need to report your income from that W2. If you didn’t and get audited in the next 10 or something years they will catch you and you will have to pay some crazy fine. It could happen even if it would show that you deserve more money. Not reporting all of your jobs/income could lead to bumping you into a different tax bracket, so they frown on hiding anything. |
