In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m not the one with the astronomical level of insecurity in my own self-worth that I have to stoop to evaluating the trolling skills of others. The fact that trolling comes so ‘naturally’ to you is evidence of your true nature as a social reject who was only happy when he was bullying the smallest kids and hurting other peoples pets.

I blame CS for this thread’s failure; a contest dedicated to “flaming” as opposed to “trolling” is destined to fill up with nothing but unfunny, generic insults. And a trolling contest? That’s absurd. Just announcing it like that. It’s like trolling a forum and saying “Hey guys I’m a troll and I’m going to troll this thread” The point of trolling is not to admit you’re a troll so people think you’re legit and respond to it. If there was a trolling contest everyone would be immediately on the defensive and not respond to each other if they had any common sense. Thus, if it was done correctly it’d be boring; if it was done incorrectly it’d just be stupid. Heck, maybe that was just a troll in itself, but I’ll respond because I guarantee there’s people here who would genuinely mistake that for a good idea.

I find this contest amusing tbh. I think the brunt of the complaints so far boil down to the equivalent of a someone deciding to watch Bonanza and complaining because they don’t like westerns. I think some of you just feel left out and want to talk your own ****.
