Ladies and gentlemen (and the few people who claimed to be neither in our last census), I’m ecstatic to announce the latest addition to your moderator team: PhineasPoe!

PhineasPoe will be our first designated “task-specific” mod, meaning he’ll primarily be the Knight of INCIT and Hall of **** Monitor. He’ll still have full mod powers, but he’ll be concentrating on INCIT, a section of the game that he has been instrumental in improving.

Phin is a man who needs no introduction — unless you’re some sort of stinking newb. A popular, respected and accomplished player, his contributions to INCIT have earned him fame, even among his fellows in the elite INCIT Klan 70 Character Storytellers.

His well-known RP alts have kept us entertained for over a year now. He even founded the gimmick alts union, devoted to making Flamebate “less gay.” He’s not only a highly valued contributor to both the Apprentice program and forumbuildr Elite, but he’s recently joined the Forumwarz Charter Task Force and will undoubtedly be a welcome “player advocate,” helping to shape our evolving ruleset to make it as fair as possible.

Phin has been proactive in trying to make INCIT less IN****TY. His generous and well-received contest has boosted the game’s profile, and his presence in chat has helped inform players and steer them in the right direction.

He’s also a man who gets things done. Thanks to his gentle haranguing, ET not only fixed our INCIT photo import tool today, but also the image cycling problem, which should greatly reduce the amount of repetition you see.

Being an INCIT watchdog is not an easy task. And although Phin will have mod tools, we don’t expect him to sit and stare at the game screen 24/7. Nevertheless, we fully trust his judgment and sense of fair play, and he’ll do the best he can to address misconduct.

I think its in a bit poor taste to name a new mod so soon after losing our last one, I know hes not a replacement for Banhammer but a new mod meant for INCIT, but still.
