ET did a broken code update on the busiest night of the week, two hours before the end of dom. A cunning ploy to annoy what remains of his playerbase. |

I think he’s just trying to get under your skin, meeeeeeeeeee.
But yeh, spacekadt and I were talking about it and she mentioned that you’d think ET would learn to not do anything at all on dom days. |

Sometimes you can’t prevent code updates. Especially when if you don’t update, someone who reads security updates could bring down your entire site with one request.
Security updates don’t wait for DOM either. And it was less than 15 minutes of downtime about 3 hours from the end of Dom.

In other words, if nothing had been done, then it’s possible that the site could have been attacked and shut down for the next 10+ hours? So, the choice was 15 minute downtime versus possible loss of an entire week of Dom?
Hmm, decisions, decisions.

Yeh, just because you weren’t around to prevent it.
@ET I don’t really care, lol. It’s no big deal. |
