It could be fun to create items nad see them in the game. Computers for example definitely need more variety. Even the PruneServ gives only +50 Ego. |

Well I’m bumuming they will set a limit for effect. That you can not set something to more than +7 for example.
I look forward to having more variety in items and .moar files, since Pink Floyd is getting a bit lame, and there could seriously be some more .moar files for Emo’s (tears wise) and glbumes for Hackers (since they don’t have any of their own).

What’s to keep people from making a forum where all the .moar files they want drop frequently? Well, people don’t have any control over what moars drop in a buildr forum. |

I think the point is to introduce more desirable items for kyoubai. Since it’s not that hard to get a good set of files, and after that you’re just spinning the wheels and collecting. But people do bid on things simply because they’re rare, and people may well end up bidding extra intensively on an item that they had a part in creating.
But basically, I think it’s so there’s a consistent supply of rarish special kyoubai auctions (like the headset, but less powerful probably), to keep people interested and to sink a lot of flezz. |

Yes we pick the type of object and the stats, you guys pick what it’s called, the description and the image.
The idea is to seed more items into the universe. Give stores more content, more rare stuff to trade. Not everyone will participate, but then again not everyone loves ForumBuildr either.
ETA is probably within 2 weeks. I spent some time on it last week, got some complicated parts done. |
