It is a relatively new show on Fox. It strikes me as “X-files” meets “Level 9” with a dash of Outer Limits at times. It is an all around enjoyable show. I can’t wait for the new episode on Tuesday. |

Is that the one with the scientist they got out of a mental hospital to help them fight against “the pattern” or the show with the really smart scientist that the fbi lady has to go around the country to special problems as his handler? There are 2 pretty similar shows and I always get them mixed up. |

Eleventh Hour has some scientist named Dr. Hood that an FBI chick needs to go around to protect for some reason. They always go to mysterious happenings and the scientist figures out the reasons for whatever has happened.
Fringe has a hot chick who got a former government scientist named Walter Bishop out of a mental institution to help understand/combat people who are using the pattern to develop/attack people with “fringe” science that is pretty much unexplainable.
the Mentalist has Patrick Jane and he is a consultant for the California bureau of Investigation and him and his hot chick guardian go investigate things like murders and he is able to pick up on people’s behaviors and monk-style details to solve these crimes. |

Fringe also has a mad scientist who doses catterpillars with LSD and injects a hottie FBI agent with an LSD/Ketamine combo and throws her in a sensory deprivation tank to talk to her dead lover.
Either way, full of win!

I stop watching after some of the second episode. I don’t know, I pretty much hated all the main characters. And FBI chicks boss lets her get away with all kinds of wierd **** she shouldn’t get. “Oh yeah, take a guy out of the mental hospital and let him bring a cow in college!” I never stuck with me. |
