Yeah, I have a question about Kingdom of Loathing (Wyrd, are you there?) anyway, I’m not taking this to the KoL forums because I’m not part of the community. Folks over there are strange.

So, my question is if you’re going for the Silver Wossname on the Hippie/Frat boy quest, once you’ve reduced both sides to one can you complete sidequests for their rewards and still get the Wossname?

I hope tubs bans everyone that is off topic in that thread.

The answer is yes, man. If you do the killing like you are supposed to, you can do whatever you want to on that island.

I have it but I think I did all the sidequests first to make killing down to 1 easier.

As for the original question, note that doing the arena quest in a wossname effort is completely pointless, since you only get the benefits of completing the arena quest if there are hippies/fratboys around to go to the concert. If the side who would prefer the schedules concert is bombed back to the stoneage, nobody goes to the concert so there’s no way to get the benefit from the quest after the war is over. So don’t do that one. Feel free to do the others, if you like.

Generally the most efficient wossname strategies involve doing the quests as you go though.
