Of course you guys wouldn’t be affecting it with your purchases. If we based the whole thing on purchases and sales, you would be. Which might be more fun.

But personally I think the realism version is more interesting.

I don’t like it. I want it to be contained within Forumwarz, so the community can decide what goes up and what goes down, just like in real life. We need to be able to buy player stocks for the people and klans we like most, and make a Peen for being the most valuable commodity. You wouldn’t be able to do that if it were all based on the real life stock markets.

Really it’s just an issue of time and prioritizing. We have tons of stuff we want to do and it’s a question of how much time it takes to implement versus how much value it adds to our users.

I actually think I could knock out the code for this in a day, so that’s good from a “getting it done” standpoint.

Having said that, I know a lot of players like SG94 would prefer to see a new store buying/selling interface first.

Indeed, there needs to be some previews of the store. You should base the graphics on this:

All streamlined and blue. Not sure what meme to parody it with though. NASDAQ + ? = Funny?

Also, you need to make sure it’s based in the “Services” tab in bookmarks, like the Job Board.

EDIT: Idea! Make it a side mission to unlock it!

I like that idea too. Without player based interaction its just fantasy stock trading. Im not sure if were big enough though to have out own economy yet.

LOL, just noticed EVERY market has gone down. Another reason to make it all inside ForumWarz.
