I have to say even though I think Kid Rock’s “All Summer Long” is overplayed, I still like to hear it everytime it’s played. Anyone else like it or even hate it? |

Not a Kid Rock fan, but I have to say it was clever as hell to fit Werewolves and Sweet Home Alabama together so seamlessly, and create new lyrics that kept the feel of both songs.
For anyone unfamiliar with the other songs, go you tube Werewolves of London and Sweet Home Alabama. It’s actually impressive. |

It’s not that. Generally I really dislike the “sampling” or pure jacking of music, it’s just so freaking clear based on the song that he is a huge fan of both the songs. Plus in all honesty as long as it’s credited it has a chance of exposing a group of music fans to some songs they might not otherwise find. When I was younger (I’m very old, almost dead) if a band/artist I loved covered a song, I made a point of going and listening to the original because I figured there had to be a reason they chose to cover that song. |

I hate this song for all the reasons mentioned in Hate By Numbers, but mostly because on the few occasions when I’m listening to the radio I’ll always think it’s ‘Werewolves of London’ and I’ll get excited. After ten seconds I realize what it is and I’ll get ****ed off and usually go on to play a ****ty game of pool.
**** Kid Rock and **** this terrible, unoriginal song. |
