It’s not that. Generally I really dislike the “sampling” or pure jacking of music, it’s just so freaking clear based on the song that he is a huge fan of both the songs. Plus in all honesty as long as it’s credited it has a chance of exposing a group of music fans to some songs they might not otherwise find. When I was younger (I’m very old, almost dead) if a band/artist I loved covered a song, I made a point of going and listening to the original because I figured there had to be a reason they chose to cover that song.
