How about you throw in a web spiders that dishes out two moar files per forum thread. Such a price NEEDS some proper advantage, and I really would like a new web spider. |

$30 for forever. That’s not as bad as 360 bp sounded at first. I’m planning to get it by buying 2 of the $14.99 packages. |

I just wish the extended ability bar was a default feature, the rest you can take away. |

Fixed that for you… I’m pretty sure everyone would rather have the expanded toolbar than not because the old toolbar was barely adequate before ep2.

Have you played through Ep3?
With the constantly-changing sensitivities, the tougher forums, and the high secondary stat cost of the highest-ended attacks, I don’t have a single non-cheating character who doesn’t have at least 4-5 slots taken up for each type of attack they have available. (Except the perman00b, as he has so little to work with.)

ET values his programming twice as much as he values the efforts of the entire rest of the creative team put together.   ET is charging himself consulting fees because he had to bring himself in to fix the mistakes of the original programmers (himself). Consultants are overpriced and he must pbum it on to the consumer. That money’s gotta come from somewhere, and the pockets of the CEO are off-limits. |

100bp and a free non-anon avatar/title prank. that’s a totally reasonable deal.
you can go out to a decent dinner, or a dinner for two at sit-down chain restaurant for the price you’re charging. you could buy a half eighth of good weed and snacks. you could buy gas for your car. you could even buy some cheap Log in to see images!
it’s a ridiculous amount of cash for what you’re paying for as everyone else already said. just wanted to be the 100th-something person to tell you i won’t be buying this at this price, and wouldn’t consider it at all until it’s halved Log in to see images! |

Dear ET,
I fully support the price you chose and understand why you did so. I personally do not find it that big, but it just may be because of the fact that i have not had to scavenge in trashcans for my food and clothing.
Best regards, Professor Commie PhD. |

I am certain Evil Trout did lot of market research (in fact, I was part of said research and I agreed that price is competitive); you must realize that using formula “(time invested) * (hourly salary) / (amount of potential buyers)” is valid for Crotch Zombie Productions enterprise considering how high market price of Mr. Robin Ward is.
30 USD is less than one coke at decent strip club, so who cares. |

Okay, I’ve had some time to ruminate, and this is what I’ve come up with.
If I look at “forever” as 2.5 years, then I’m being asked to pay one dollar per month for the extra functionality. That’s — not too bad, actually. BUT — and it’s a big BUT
1) When lumped together into one sum, the sum seems to much. There’s no guarantee the site will BE here in 2.5 years, so we’re being asked to pay in advance for something which could very likely disappear. If it were presented as a “we will debit your account 10 BP per month for the next 36 months, and the functionality will disappear if you can’t pay”, that would probably have flown better.
2) The features aren’t worth that kind of money to a consumer. ET may think he’d be getting back the cost of the time he spent implementing them, but given that entire episodes took WAY longer, and gave you so MUCH more, that’s a very unbalanced view.
3) The timing could not be worse. ET JUST got a job, so FW isn’t his main source of income any more. Along with that, he’s indicated that updates are going be MUCH LESS FREQUENT going forward, and they weren’t exactly rolling out before. With all that he’s asking for more than twice as much money as 2+ YEARS of development work. It’s a good thing ET’s new job is in programming, not marketing.
4) Along those lines, really we’re at endgame. And there’s not much to do at endgame that justifies the use of the current Orange features. The only way this is going to be considered worth it, imo, is if you get MissionBuildr out, and let those who purchase Orange create and distribute their own missions. |

As I suck at playing games, the TubMail is still my chief interest. So, in consideration of Oranges prices, what’s the load of 1-3 years of TubMails in real
Aside: Damn Lunar and Pokemanz and incomelessness, that I have to figure a monetary game plan in less that two weeks. |

This. It’s no surprise that the ET well-wishing posts fell off sharply when the price for Orange was revealed. |
