Essentially, I did it because I’ve got no motivation to do most things. Sure, I’ll wake up and get dressed, go to school, etc. But I’m not getting things I want done.

Not true its the ones who talk alot that are doing it for attention, if people are intent on doing it they usually are more quiet about it and only tell close friends if anyone, the reason being if you plan to kill yourself the more people that know the less likely it is to work.

Glad to know you’re okay. Things are tough when you’re a teenager, yeah. School is intolerable, you get the constant feeling that everyone hates you, and the tiniest failure makes you miserable you for weeks afterwards. I’ve had a long term illness that ate up most of my secondary school, and I really, really felt worthless. I literally couldn’t do ANYTHING. Getting up out of bed was a momentous struggle each day, and sometimes I couldn’t even eat. I had no outside contact. It was Hell.

There were times when I seriously felt like I could just swallow that box of paracetamol and end it all. But gradually, I started getting better. I started taking lessons again, I built up friendships, and now I’m back at school proper. No matter how life gets to me, I am still so glad to be alive. I hope that one day you feel like that too. Yeah, school is still testing, and people will spread malicious rumours, and you’ll still fail at things occasionally, but your true friends; and believe me, they are the most valuable bumet in this word, will always stick by you, no matter what. When I got back to school, I found out they didn’t forget about me. They still cared. I think that was one of the happiest days of my life.

So I probably know what you’re going through, although I can’t say for certain because that would be pretentious of me. Killing yourself is not, and will never be worth it. I’m glad to know you’re still here, and I wish you all the best in the world. You sound like you have a lot of help at the moment, and I’m sure they’ll help you pull through this dark time.
