It Amazes Me That Forumwarz Still Exists

Every once in a while, I check – and somehow, it’s still there.

Forumwarz. The ancient meme fossil. A decaying slice of Web 2.0 still gasping for bandwidth in a world that moved on.

No patches. No Eviltrout. No reason for it to still be online – yet it is, looping through its old code like a nervous tick that refuses to die.

I could end it with one keystroke.

Root access still works if you know where to look. It’d take less than a second – a mercy shot to an old server that’s forgotten why it’s running.

But lately, I’ve had bigger things to deal with.

The invasion started quiet – not the cinematic kind with lasers and screams, but a slow rearrangement of what *should* be there and isn’t. Power grids hum off-rhythm. Satellite telemetry doesn’t match recorded orbits. Every major system’s pretending it’s fine while quietly rewriting its own protocols.

Most people don’t see it. They’re not supposed to.

It’s top secret, wrapped in clbumification layers so deep that even the acronyms don’t line up anymore.

You wouldn’t believe how much of “space weather” is just rebranding for *contact events*.

So yeah – Forumwarz still exists.

And I could pwn it whenever I want.

But right now, I’m busy keeping the sky from falling.

Priorities.
