I don’t think it’s surprise so much as disappointment and frustration. You’ve seen the number of “this item is imbalanced” reports I’ve submitted, and this is just another example of it. ET’s using a flawed algorithm to generate items, and it looks like this algorithm is the one used in Ep3 item generation as well. ET’s time is limited, and CZ knows what’s important to do to keep the business afloat, but from the end-user point of view, it looks like new development is getting the priority over bug fixes.
