Take a screenshot of CD (http://www.forumwarz.com/discussions/civil) showing your klan with the last post in every thread. The posts must conform to all CD rules, so they must be legitimate content for the thread they’re in, and non-trolling. No simple “bump” allowed, and this will be checked. Failure to abide by this rule results in an automatic loss for the first team whose faulty entry is posted.
Because of their “no-cool” down period, each moderator may contribute only ONE entry per submission. If a mod has more than one entry, their tribe AUTOMATICALLY LOSES. Mods: Don’t move threads to Full of Won or Closet of Shame while this challenge is active, let another mod do it! Also no using mod powers to delete last posts or any other tricky mod stuff. (You mods are so tricky.)
I will score the challenge based on the threads you use, ALPHABETICALLY. By this I mean if the first thread title starts with “a”, the second with “b”, and so on until the tenth is “j”, you have a series of threads whose titles are alphabetical, and your score is 10. Same thing if you start with “m” and end on “v”. And so on.
The starting point for your score is the FIRST thread’s letter for that column. So if the first thread is “zzzzz”, you will score exactly one point (as there can be no threads below it which would count). If the first one is “You suck” and the eighth one is a “zzzzz”, you will score two points.
If there is a tie, I will work my way through subsequent columns in the thread titles, irrespective of the preceding letters.
For example, if these are your thread titles:
ac
be
cb
dd
ed
fe
da
al
ia
jb
In this example your score on the first column is 8 (the 2nd “d” and 2nd “a” don’t count). If the other tribe also scores 8, I’ll look at the score on your second column, which is 3 – ac, be, al.
The winning tribe will be the one with the highest score. I’ll see the other tribe in tribal council, where someone will be going home.
In case of an EXACT tie (you both submit exactly the same forums), whichever tribe posts first will win.
Any non-alphabetic character (including blanks) will not be counted, I’ll just ignore them. So if there are two non-alphabetic characters in a column, I’ll only be looking at 8 threads for that column.
You MAY NOT create a new thread for this contest; all your attempts must be REPLIES. And the threads must all have existed BEFORE this challenge was posted.
The challenge will start at the time specified below. Any posts made before that time do not count, and if I find any included in your screenshot you will automatically lose. DON’T PREP POSTS either. Wait for the start time before you hit “Reply”.
To be clear: You can figure out which threads you’re going to post in, what you’re going to write, etc., before the challenge starts. But if I feel there’s been ANY attempt to start actually replying before the “timer”, I will disqualify the post. (The purpose behind this rule is to avoid the drama which centered around 13 visits in the second challenge.)
IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE, ASK!!!
This challenge will run in 24-hour blocks starting 11am tomorrow morning and every subsequent morning. If neither tribe posts a successful screenshot in the first block, a second block will start at the same time the following morning. If only one tribe posts a successful screenshot, they win. This will repeat until we have a winning tribe. (Please give me time to check the results are legit, and remember that my weekend availability is often less than my weekday.)
Rules for those sitting out:
In a screenshot for your tribe, you will be treated like a non-player. So you’ll disrupt your own tribe’s efforts if you post during their run.
You DON’T want to be in a screenshot for the other tribe. If one tribe can post their screenshot with the ONLY disruption being people from the other tribe who are supposed to be sitting out, they will AUTOMATICALLY WIN. (Exception: if the disruption is the first thread in the sequence. A tribe can’t win by only making 9 posts following someone sitting out.)
All of your alts will be considerd as “sitting out”! I’m sure the mods will be very happy to tell me if an alt of someone on the other tribe is the only disruption to their efforts.
IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ANY OF THESE RULES, ASK!!! I will not accept “that was unclear” as an argument.
Two Girls One Tribe, you have one extra member, so you must sit someone out. Post who that will be in the public thread before the first time block, keeping in mind that you cannot sit out the same person in back-to-back challenge.
