It should be pretty obvious that the character was yelling “fire” to cause panic in the reader, not because he was channeling Cornholio.

But yes, point taken. You often have to play to your audience. If you want to read poetry, there are plenty of other sites for that.

Anyway, I think I have your original script somewhere, if you’ve resolved to share it with the clbum.

It was kind of short I’ll admit. You often have to play to your audience’s attention span. However, it wasn’t fleshed out even vaguely in the smooth brandy-sipping style I laid for the foundation. You can tell who wrote what; it’s night and day.

And if there’s anybody in the world who hates poetry, it’s me. But this **** was a cool away to introduce the character:

Some say the world will end in fire;

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

Were you afraid you’d get sued or something? You kept the suicidal tendencies reference.

Anyway, do what you want, but I think we need to focus on the Merc mission right now.
