Hey, has anyone here talked about Cradle of Filth? I first heard them while searching for covers of ‘hallowed be thy name’. The guitar is fairly good, in a gothic metal kind of way, but – My God, that voice! it’s like being ineffectualy bumualted by a tiny, angry goblin in that it’s impossible to take it seriously. That, plus they completly misinterprested the theme of the song, which in theory I have no problem with, but when the guy yells ‘****s!’ That’s missing the point entirly, in my opinion. Anyway, yeah:
