This isn’t a question of “Is this a book I’d like to read,” it’s a question of “How many people throughout history has this book convicted and impacted?”

Again, I submit The Jungle.

I don’t think anyone would argue that The Jungle by Upton Sinclair was one of the most influential books written in the 20th century. It eventually lead to the creation of the Food and Drug Administration and majors changes in way the meat packing industry was regulated.
