Thank you. The problem is not so much that it’s embedded shock, it’s that it’s hidden shock. While embedded shock is allowed, links which lead to hidden shock unexpectedly are not.

The rules page Posted:

URLs which lead to shock images, browser hijackers, links which cause people to perform actions unwillingly (such logging out) may only be used if they are CLEARLY LABELED as such.

This rule is established this way because people can turn off images on Flamebate to avoid seeing shock, but can’t do it through hidden links.
