If you’d posted a thread titled “YIPPIE-KAI-YAY, ****!” in NO SRSLY, to discuss the Die Hard films, it would still be an inappropriate thread title, for both reasons (mostly for the ALLCAPS). And that phrase is definitely more in the public consciousness than an off-handed comment during the Oscars.

Like I said, I might have been more understanding if it weren’t for the ALLCAPS. As it stands, it was a minor ban, you’re aware of the rule now, so I doubt it’ll be an issue in the future.
