The problem is that now certain players can get certain E-Peens far more easily than certain other players just because they have different preferred character clbumes, regardless of whether or not character clbum is at all relevant to getting the E-Peen. It doesn’t encourage the people on the wrong side of this change to play other clbumes (I want these E-Peens on my main, not an alt), it just devalues their efforts. It also devalues the E-Peen itself.

A new idea just popped out of my mind: what if we change it so that only main characters can get leaderboard peens? You know, the real reason why CZ introduced alts was to let people legally enjoy the game as other clbumes, and using an alt to hog a leaderboard is just wrong.
