It’s not so much about catering for the low-end, but the problem I have with it is that the game rewards people on the high-end. The speedrun leaderboard is mostly “I have better internet than you”. Also yes people living in countries whose broadband networks aren’t very good, or people living in rural areas will be disadvantaged. Here in australia we still use copper network I think |
