This isn’t the first time this has come up, but I’ve always thought that “It’s not explicitly stated” is a lame excuse.
You don’t have to have things specifically said to you to know they are wrong. For example, I’ve never explicitly said “I will ban a user if the DDOS the site”, but that’s exactly what I’d do.
Or I’ve never said “I will ban someone who tries to reset my pbumword” but I’ve done that too.
I’ve never punished someone for an accident, or for doing something that they thought meant well but failed. In this case, people co-ordinated with each other to transfer huge amounts of Flezz. Repeatedly. Then they used that money to outbid genuine players on the new special auctions.
Do you really think that while they were doing that, it never occurred to them that what they were doing was wrong? Of course it did.
I’m talking about using basic common sense here. If something seems wrong, it probably is. If you’re not sure, ask a mod or admin before doing it.
