Your reaction was exactly what I was trying to avoid.

Someone selling TKs at below cost is inherently disruptive. If someone flooded the market with TKs at  623,000 (lower than the lowest possible purchase price), then that simply screws over every single person trying to legitimately sell a TK.

Establishing a price floor actually benefits both Buyers & Sellers. My comment in regard to ‘new’ salesmen was specifically meant in the case of intentionally disruptive players. No one individual would continue selling TKs at  624001 ‘for the lulz’ at the risk of losing the deposit, not if legitimate and honest Sellers agreed to help each other.

That was what my Tubmail was in regards to. Hell, if you’d like to establish a lower price for such items (say, 10% above the minimum we can buy it for), then let’s discuss that.

The point is that there is a balance between the lowest possible price for the Buyer, and a worthwhile profit margin for the Seller. And my reference for that was Kyoubai’s ‘Base Cost’ for an item.
