That’s one of the reasons why people who like the endgame aren’t going to be all that interested in this, and why bonus-grinding isn’t that big of a deal.

Why?

Perhaps there should be ePeens for the first remort, as well as for clearing episode 1 with every clbum, and episode 2 with every clbum, as well as ePeens for clearing an episode with all clbumes, but I see no reason why players should be rewarded just for grinding in and of itself.

That would work out to be 1 for first remort, 6+1 for episode 1, and 6+1 for episode 2 for a total of 15 ePeen, requiring at least 6 remorts to attain. The value of these epeen would be reasonably low, since almost one in four people would have one of the episode/clbum clear badges simply as a result of playing through the game once. The only ones that would have any sort of value would be the permanoob, re-re, all-clbum-clear, and first remort badges. Since people would EARN the permanoob and re-re badges either way, that brings it down the the remort-specific ones: The first remort and the all-clbum-clear ePeens.

Of course, that’s just if you wanted to add ePeens for it.

That would be their choice, and that would also mean that they were glad to be given the choice to do so.

Another problem is that a good deal of the current power comes from having access to high-end equipment and .moar files. It takes a significant investment in time and visits in order to get those benefits and few people are going to want to give up their rare .moar files in return for a small bonus to base stats.

I suppose that CZ could allow people to store .moar files away until you hit some predetermined level and regain access to them. That seems to be a reasonable option.
