I have officially audited the Forumwarz 2008 Presidential Election.

The polls officially closed at 11PM EST last night. If you voted after that it wasn’t counted, sorry! Here are my findings:

1,219 votes were cast

1,027 were for Barack Obama (Victor)

192 were for John McCain.

76 votes were flagged as suspicious (coming from duplicate IP addresses). However given the huge margin of victory for Obama I didn’t discard them.

In terms of friend requests:

722 friend requests were made of Barack Obama

100 friend requests were made of John McCain

However, those numbers include alts. These numbers don’t:

520 unique friend requests were made of Barack Obama

79 unique friend requests were made of John McCain

It looks like you guys added a couple of hundred extra for Barak Obama using your alts!

Finally, accordinging to every site on the Internet, Obama won the IRL presidency.

Conclusion

Obama won the fake election, the real election and the “friend” election. I’m going to open the floor for speeches from both candidates.
