OK, guys. I totally think I might have surprised Biff. I was waiting in his bedroom, and when he came in I started to recite this poem I wrote him, and he just said “i love you pbumionately, janie darling”, and I realized he appreciated that my poetry and my scorpions for the true love gifts that they were. he asked me to marry him and then we went to a motel three towns away and made love. when i woke up, he was gone and it was morning. clearly he just needed some time to sort through the powerful emotions our love-making had dredged up within him. when you see him, tell him that i miss him and that i’ve been staying with my friend kerri this whole time since that morning and would like to see him since i haven’t seen him since that night.
