While largely a false (read: bull****) diagnosis, multiple personality disorder (or dissociative identity disorder, as it is now known) is believed to be caused by incredibly stressful experiences that overwhelm one’s sense of self to the point new identities must be created.

Often this stressful event may be traced back to childhood.

In order to better help you on the road to recovery, please describe exactly how and in what positions your father raped you. Remember, the more detail you provide, the better I will be able to help.
