I agree that “trendy emo music” is ****, but “goth” is what most people immediately think when they hear Bauhaus, JD and LPD. I won’t lower myself to fight over genre labels with someone who calls other people “****male reproductive organ”. Agreed, labels arguments are the lamest.

No such thing as “emo” music realy. There may be things that are currently trendy among pockets of people calling themselves “emo” but clbumical music, country music could be called “emo” if it is sad or beautiful or moves you emotionally.

Pink Floyd, is my all time favorite band, they are not considered “emo”, they have the “acid rock” label, yet they write music about insanity, politics, getting high, the horribleness of being, and suicide.
