It’s less the internet I hate and more the realization it brings that people are terrible. Case in point, this biography of Fred Phelps Addicted to Hate. You’ve probably heard of his church – it’s the one that pickets the funerals of dead soldiers. Of course, he was doing all this long before the internet existed.

The Internet is responsible for bringing together hateful people who would never otherwise bumociate though.

But yeah, hate was always around. The Internet just magnified it.
