The Coup

meowmeowmeow

ruffled feathers, feathered fur

the cantankerous king strides with sincerity

to the cliff’s edge

what beholds the lions so

to congregate in a shale spell

oh here come the apples

chicken little is finally right

one of them is creme, bigger than the rest

cracks, striations, san andreas faults the feline

cowering, they now know which came first

“Its A Egg”

the magnificence, the valor! such an omnipresent umbrella!

blotting out the aples, the sky, the egg.

the tables are turned

as The Egg Baby is borne

of angel’s wings and Dings
