Where is this from? I’m afraid I can’t find it in my 3.5 SRD, but regardless it’s not in 3.0. Sorry mate. Which reminds me, since your background is predominantly 3.5: Power Attack may not work the way you’re used to. Have a quick re-read through the feats in 3.0, but otherwise things should be pretty much the same.
Equipment --------- 258gp + gold from boots +1 Halberd 2310gp +1 Spiked Full Plate 2700gp Battleaxe 10gp MW Composite Longbow 400gp Arrows x40 2gp Ring of +1 Protection 2000gp Backpack and basics 100gp -Caltrops -Crowbar -Bedroll -Bullseye lantern -Fishing rod -Rope -Signal whistle -Tindertwigs -other miscellanea
I like the equipment so far save for the Boots, which are (again) not in 3.0 unfortunately. Log in to see images! However, there’s a lot you can consider in place of the boots: I’ve sent you an email with a list of possible magic items on p732. Take a gander and maybe consider some of the following:
– Potions of Cure Moderate/Serious Wounds (300/750gp): Like I told Night Gaunt, potions are very often an adventurer’s best friend, and all the more so for a frontline fighter like yourself. Expect to be smacked around quite often, so pot up!
– Potion of Bull Strength (300gp): If your wizard’s all out of buffs, it’s up to you to come prepared. The 1d4+1 enhancement to Strength not only means +1 to hit, but also a +1 to damage: the equivalent of an additional point of enchantment on your halberd. Definitely worth stocking up on.
– Amulet of Natural Armour (2000gp): Because +1 AC is +1 AC.
– Boots of Striding and Springing (2500gp): Read it and weep. Yes, that’s double your movement speed. In full plate armour, when you only move 20ft, moving that additional 20ft can be invaluable. Besides, this boots also gives you +10 to Jump. Is that a bargain or is that a bargain?
– Gray Bag of Tricks (900gp): I don’t know why, but I’ve always loved the bag of tricks. Nothing really beats the feeling of being a Pokemon master, I expect. In all seriousness, though, the Bag of Tricks’ summons can sometimes be more useful than you think; a rat can gnaw through rope, a bat can scout and scare people, a cat is nice to stroke… that sort of stuff. |
