Right now it’s strictly good/bad. What other dimensions did you have in mind?

Clbum-specific ones would make sense, but I don’t know what else would be appropriate. Liberal/conservative might come into play, or your allegiance to certain characters…but that stuff doesn’t figure heavily into the game yet.

I don’t really have anything in mind, but someone once mentioned somewhere a Smart/Stupid scale in addition to the Good/Bad (or maybe Liberal/Conservative) scale. I thought that was a particularly ingenious suggestion, personally: it not only parodies the D&D system, but also allows for more options for characters to progress into.

What’s more, with such a bi-axial alignment system, you can also give character bonuses and penalties depending on their alignment. For instance, a Mildly Clever Liberal Troll may gain bonuses when making flames but deal less damage with his Re-Re-esque attacks. The opposite would hold true for, say, a Lobotomised Conservative Emo Kid.

Of course there’s also the whole option of what we call “prestige clbumes” in D&D, or additional clbumes that you progress into after meeting certain conditions. The Mildly Clever Troll mentioned above may be able to progress into “Scathing Poster” with a speciality in flaming, but he won’t be able to take the “Keyboard Banger” sub-clbum because he’s too intelligent.
