The internet is interesting in that it can expose you very easily to all sorts of terrible aspects of humanity that you’d normally be sheltered from.

I’d say about once every week or two I find something like the above post that makes me cringe. I hate it, yet I am happy that I am getting a slightly more realistic view of the world, at least in those niche aspects.

This, pretty much. Not so much the internet, but the people on it.

Just glad they’ve voluntarily quarantined themselves in their basement these days.

Although you’ve gotta wonder if things like Confur would have happened before the Internet.
